Our Story...

Dave and Sandra Benson established the business in 1981 selling knitting machines, accessories and yarn. Initially they sold some overlockers.  They gradually moved into sewing machines and fabrics after Sandra completed a City and Guilds course in Patchwork and Quilting.

Today the shop is devoted to sewing, patchwork and quilting and there are no knitting machines or yarns in sight.

VISIT OUR SHOP

Our shop is in Newton Abbot which is a small market town in South Devon.

The shop is near the railway station. Newton Abbot is a main line station and so has easy access by train.  If you are travelling by bus ask for the bus stop at the railway station.  It is then just a short walk to the shop.

If you are driving, as you enter Newton Abbot follow the signs for the railway station.  There are short stay parking spaces very close to the shop or for long stay parking use Osbourne Road car park.  To get to the car park drive past the shop towards Newton Abbot town and take the first right onto Quay Road. Next take the second left onto Osbourne Road and you will see the car park on your left.

For satnavs use the postcode TQ12 2BS
